Description

The company is using digital technology and new ways of working to improve the employee experience, and the Digital HR team builds accessible, engaging digital tools for employees.

The role is an Instructional Designer for HR Digital, creating and delivering learning that helps people adopt global HR technology initiatives. It blends instructional design, digital learning, facilitation and stakeholder work in a quick-moving agile setting.

You will turn business and system changes into practical learning that prepares people, drives adoption and keeps usage going, working with subject matter experts, project teams, change and communications partners and HR stakeholders.

You will analyse learning needs, set target audiences and objectives, build engaging training, and run virtual sessions for audiences around the world. You will also produce digital learning assets, help administer the learning management system, and refine the learner experience using feedback and learning data.

You will support projects across the full lifecycle: introducing new HR systems and features, user testing, release planning, rollout, adoption and later enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Work with subject matter experts and project stakeholders to find training gaps, affected groups, learning objectives and suitable delivery methods.
  • Design and build quality training programmes and materials that fit learner, project and business needs.
  • Produce and update e-learning, video and other digital assets using authoring, recording and editing tools.
  • Run engaging virtual sessions for global audiences, and run train-the-trainer sessions when needed.
  • Build and keep up courses and learning content in the learning management system, making sure details stay accurate and current.
  • Review, check and regularly refresh learning materials with stakeholders and content owners.
  • Partner with change and communications colleagues to get affected audiences ready for new HR solutions, processes and features.
  • Change learning plans, content and delivery as project priorities, requirements and release schedules shift.
  • Help test new solutions and features, then use the results to improve training, instructions and learner guidance.
  • Collect feedback and learning data to judge how well training works and where it can get better.
  • Apply strong visual design, quality checks and accessibility standards to all materials and channels.

Requirements

  • Significant experience creating training and learning solutions for business or technology change.
  • Experience delivering virtual training to international or geographically spread audiences.
  • Experience administering and maintaining courses and content in a learning management system.
  • High-level skill with Camtasia and Synthesia, or equivalent video and digital learning tools.
  • Quick to pick up and apply new tools, systems and technologies.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with subject matter experts and project stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, juggle competing priorities and produce high-quality work at pace.
  • Sharp attention to detail and sound visual design judgement.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Desirable: experience with Saba Cloud or a similar learning management platform.
  • Desirable: knowledge of one or more e-learning authoring applications.
  • Desirable: knowledge of video editing software and digital content production techniques.
  • Desirable: HR experience or knowledge of HR processes and digital HR solutions.
  • Desirable: experience supporting change, communications or user adoption for technology rollouts.
  • Desirable: experience helping test new systems or features.

Conditions

You will work with colleagues across the Digital HR team, subject matter experts, project and programme stakeholders, change and communications partners, HR teams, affected business stakeholders, and learning administration and technology teams. You may also work with external learning, content or technology suppliers where needed.

Closing date is 15-Nov-2026; the role was posted on 02-Nov-2026.

The company welcomes applications from all qualified people, complies with applicable non-discrimination, work authorization and employment eligibility laws.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape global learning experiences for HR digital initiatives and varied audiences.
  • Help colleagues understand and adopt new HR technologies and ways of working.
  • Turn complex business and system changes into clear, practical and engaging learning.
  • Build relationships with subject matter experts, project teams, HR stakeholders and change professionals.
  • Use video, e-learning and other digital approaches to build modern, accessible learning experiences.
