Description

The role owns HCP personal promotion and speaker programs for epilepsy, a rare indication, from strategy through execution and ongoing improvement.

You will turn brand strategy, customer insight and clinical evidence into compliant promotional tools and engagement formats for healthcare professionals.

You will work with Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and outside partners, and you will direct field promotion and HCP speaker work with them.

The company is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical business developing therapies for central nervous system disorders that involve neuronal imbalance, using genetic insights.

Responsibilities

  • Set HCP personal promotion strategy by turning brand goals, customer insight, segmentation and positioning into clear field priorities.
  • Build and improve field promotional materials, including core sales resources, clinical data presentations and objection-handling tools that help reps have distinct conversations with HCPs.
  • Run the HCP speaker program: plan the speaker bureau, find and onboard speakers, train them, execute programs and keep speakers ready over time, all within brand goals and compliance rules.
  • Work with Sales and Sales Training on launch readiness, field execution and consistent messaging, using field feedback and changing customer needs to adjust priorities.
  • Turn complex clinical and scientific content into clear messages for customers, working with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance so materials are accurate and compliant.
  • Manage agency and vendor partners for personal promotion and speaker work, setting expectations, handling budgets and timelines, and making sure output is high quality.
  • Measure promotional impact using customer insight, field feedback, speaker metrics and performance data, then use the results to improve current and future work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • An advanced degree in business, life sciences, marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Several years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech HCP marketing, covering personal promotion, field promotional materials and/or HCP speaker programs.
  • Pre-launch or launch experience is preferred.
  • Experience in rare disease, specialty pharma or marketing to focused HCP audiences is strongly preferred.
  • A solid grasp of pharmaceutical promotional practice, field-based HCP engagement, and the relevant regulatory and compliance rules.
  • A record of influencing cross-functional partners, managing agencies and vendors, and delivering high-quality work across competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A strategic, analytical and hands-on working style, with sound judgment, ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive for results in a quick-moving setting.
  • Regular computer and office equipment use, clear communication, occasional movement, comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination and sustained focus. Reasonable accommodations are available for people with disabilities.

Conditions

The role can be done remotely, but it requires flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed.

Annualized base salary is $190,000 - $214,000 USD.

Benefits

  • The company covers 99% of the premium for medical, dental and vision plans, and offers voluntary plans to tailor coverage.
  • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D and disability benefits are included.
  • 401(k) contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of eligible pay.
  • Long-term stock incentives and an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) are available.
  • A discretionary quarterly bonus is offered.
  • A flexible wellness benefit, generous PTO, paid holidays and company-wide shutdowns are included.
