Full Stack Developer (C#)

Description

The role supports a Department of Defense organization based overseas in Stuttgart, Germany.

The work sits in the knowledge management division of the European Command, which builds custom knowledge management solutions through agile delivery.

The position suits an experienced developer who can work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Join the Scrum team to build software that improves business processes.
• Write client-side and server-side code in development, check it for accuracy before release, confirm that it works with other systems and is complete, and document the finished solution.
• Build custom applications that help the command decide faster and more accurately, using the.NET framework, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, TypeScript, and object models such as JSON, CSOM, and REST.
• Guide and mentor the development staff.
• Work with product owners, DevOps engineers, and security staff to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
• Find and fix technical problems across the whole stack in both development and live environments.
• Help deploy and maintain systems in IL2 and IL4 environments, in both cloud and on-premises settings.

Requirements

• Required:
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of software development experience, with a focus on full-stack work.
• Proven skill building SharePoint applications with current technology features.
• Expert-level C,.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with Angular and/or Node.js.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and relational database design, such as SQL Server.
• A solid grasp of software architecture patterns and clean code.
• Experience with Git, Agile methods, and working in collaborative teams.
• Desired:
• Experience in DoD or classified environments.
• Familiarity with Azure Government, Azure DevOps, or other secure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD automation.
• Awareness of NIST, RMF, or other compliance and security frameworks for defense software.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.

Conditions

Full-time, regular long-term assignment.

Local travel of up to 10%.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, outside the continental United States.

Minimum Secret clearance is required to start.

The salary range is $82,700 - 173,900 USD. Final pay depends on location, federal contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
