The role suits an experienced developer who enjoys hands-on implementation and working closely with others. You will be a core member of the team, building scalable solutions that make operations more efficient. Responsibilities

• Help design, build, test and deploy code that is high quality, scalable and easy to maintain.
• Write code yourself, either alone or in pairs.
• Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and refinement sessions.
• Work with senior developers, QA and other team members to deliver technical solutions.
• Raise technical requirements and problems early, with the team's support, so delivery stays on track.
• Keep learning and bring current engineering practices into your work.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Experience working in mixed, virtual or diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
• Basic understanding of database design and development on an RDBMS.
• Familiarity with API development and application security.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions and look for answers.
• Ability to work well within a team and strong integrity and judgment.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology discipline.
• Nice to have: exposure to capital markets or finance.
• Nice to have: familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

Conditions

Full-time position.

Salary range: $79,320.00 to $110,680.00.
