Description

You will be the written voice of the company's U.S. marketing overhaul, creating the copy, messaging and content strategy that links the brand with American shoppers across every channel and touchpoint.

You will work alongside the Content Lead and the Global Marketing team, turning global brand strategy into copy that suits local shoppers while keeping the brand voice intact.

This is an on-site role reporting to the Marketing Manager, based at the New York Support Office, with a dotted line to the Global Content Production lead.

No two days look the same, but your work will cover the areas below.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure all copy reflects U.S. retail and culture, built around the moments, mindsets and motivations that matter to American consumers.
  • Partner with the Content Lead so copy and visual storytelling come together from first concept to final asset.
  • Keep to global brand voice principles while making U.S. copy read as original rather than translated.
  • Catch copy that does not fit U.S. consumer expectations or retail context, and fix it through the opt-out and substitution process.
  • Write all in-store copy for U.S. locations: destination signs and wayfinding, feature and hero wall text, product stories, fit guides, usage notes, key benefits, differentiators, and promotional and seasonal material.
  • Balance brand storytelling with practical guidance so shoppers can choose with confidence.
  • Coordinate with retail and visual merchandising teams so copy fits store layouts and shopper flow.
  • Write copy for U.S. digital marketing and owned email, push and SMS channels, shaped to each platform, format and shopper intent.
  • Adjust length, tone and format for online while keeping a consistent voice and campaign storyline.
  • Track U.S. digital trends, platform practices and shopper language to keep copy current and effective.
  • Create and maintain a style guide for U.S. copy covering voice, tone by context, grammar and formatting, and U.S. language preferences.
  • Build and maintain a messaging library of approved copy blocks, product descriptors, campaign taglines and reusable frameworks for recurring formats and moments.

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to stay organised and juggle many tasks at once.
  • Strong command of language.
  • Skill with creative and office software.
  • Fluency in English plus at least one local language.
  • Preferred: at least two local languages in multi-language sales markets.
  • Minimum of 3 years handling content, editing copy and proofreading.
  • Preferably, experience in the fashion industry.
  • Background running content on media platforms.

Conditions

This is a salaried, exempt position.

The posting covers the most important duties and requirements and is not complete; other tasks may be assigned at the company's discretion.

The company set the pay range in good faith for this role and location when posting. Actual pay may be above or below it depending on candidate qualifications, and the range may change.
