Description

The role is with the company (OBE), a full-service experiential marketing agency that builds brand events for large consumer and business clients. The agency is based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and London, and also works remotely and on the road. It is a founding member of The ADD Collective.

You will sit inside a client's Enterprise Field Marketing group in the Americas and support its field programs as an embedded team member. The job turns approved field marketing plans into executed events, covering program management and marketing operations for the full event lifecycle.

The operations work is central, but the team wants someone who understands enterprise sales cycles, account-based marketing (ABM) and field strategy well enough to act beyond execution. You should understand the business behind each event, stay close to sales, and raise risks and propose changes instead of only reporting status.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain workback plans, trackers, approvals and handoffs for each event from start to finish.
  • Give status updates and escalate risks early to the client's field marketing leads.
  • Bring together cross-functional stakeholders so programs stay on schedule from planning through delivery.
  • Run event registration setup, RSVP handling and attendee communications, and keep attendee data accurate across systems.
  • Build and maintain seller toolkits, outreach cadences and audience segments for sales teams.
  • Organize send-on-behalf communications and run review and approval cycles with sellers.
  • Gather briefing documents, executive profiles and content for executives taking part in events, then manage their review and final release.
  • Set up Salesforce (SFDC) campaigns, upload leads, and work with Marketing Operations on data quality, including quality checks on campaign and lead tracking.
  • Build and maintain post-event dashboards and reports.
  • Track follow-up actions and keep the client's team informed about open items.
  • Learn the client's products, sales motions and go-to-market approach well enough to tie field programs to wider marketing and revenue goals.
  • Join sales calls and leadership meetings when needed to understand the full account, not just the events.
  • Apply ABM principles to help build and run long-term, account-specific plans that often span 12 to 18 month enterprise sales cycles.
  • Review what is and is not working in events and programs, and recommend changes.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in field marketing, marketing operations, event marketing or program management, ideally with B2B or enterprise organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise marketing and sales technology, such as Salesforce (SFDC), marketing automation platforms and event registration tools.
  • Exposure to enterprise sales cycles and ABM is strongly preferred.
  • A BA or BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field. Relevant work experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to handle several workstreams, deadlines and approvals at once.
  • Familiarity with SFDC campaign setup, lead management and marketing operations workflows.
  • A working understanding of ABM strategy and execution.
  • Comfort working inside a client's systems, tools and meeting rhythms as an embedded team member.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to earn the trust of sales, marketing and executive stakeholders.
  • An analytical approach that turns event and program data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Close attention to detail and follow-through, especially on registration, data accuracy and reporting.
  • Comfort adapting to a client's team, culture and cadence.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to anticipate risks and bring recommendations rather than only status updates.
  • High energy and flexibility for event timelines, which can include non-traditional hours.
  • Curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset, at work and in life.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for in-person events, approximately 25% to 30% of the time.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving enterprise sales and marketing environment.

Conditions

Pay range is $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market rates and demand for the role. The agency may change this range at any time.

Travel is approximately 25% to 30% of the time for in-person events.

Non-traditional hours may be needed to support event timelines.

The agency is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants without regard to protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • Employer-paid basic life and personal accident insurance.
  • Annual profit sharing and bonus plan based on company performance and individual performance.
  • 401(k).
  • Healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts.
  • Paid time off.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
