Description

The company is a workforce platform that helps large US health systems build, train, and retain staff. Since 2021 it has trained over 32,000 practice-ready healthcare workers.

Alongside its direct-to-consumer training, the company works with major healthcare institutions on the national shortage of healthcare workers, and its students feed talent pipelines for employers such as NY-Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, HCA, Providence, CVS, and Walgreens. It has partnerships with half of the top 10 US health systems and more in progress.

Backers include Y Combinator, Reach Capital, and AlleyCorp. The company closed a $55M Series C led by Oak HC/FT and was named the 1 EdTech company in the U.S. by TIME for 2025.

Events are a main way the company meets the health system and workforce leaders it works with. This role runs the field and events program: making sure each event is well executed, every conversation is captured and followed up, and what is learned improves the next season's events.

You will run a seasonal calendar of about two events a month, rising to up to four in the fall, working with the events contractor and with Growth leadership on event strategy. You will also run the paid webinar program and help launch a company-hosted event in 2027. The team needs someone resourceful who builds the processes they need instead of waiting for them.

The role reports to the Director, Enterprise Marketing and can be hybrid from the NYC office or fully remote. It involves up to 30% travel.

The team credits its results to its people and looks for mission-driven builders who handle fast change and unclear situations well. Its core values are: care first, doing whatever it takes for students to succeed; learn quickly, testing and iterating with data; build together, relying on each other to win; and own it, showing up, taking initiative, and taking pride in the work.

Responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end delivery for conferences, trade shows, and sponsored events, covering logistics, booth and materials, staffing, budgets, and vendors.
  • Direct the events contractor and outside vendors so each event is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare the team for each event with target account lists, briefing documents, and meeting schedules, working with the Workforce Solutions team.
  • Set up and maintain lead tagging in HubSpot so every lead and attendee is correctly attributed.
  • Run post-event follow-up sequences and pass warm conversations to sales quickly.
  • Track attendee engagement after each event and share findings that decide which events to invest in next.
  • Run the paid webinar program from topic and speaker coordination through promotion, production, and follow-up, with product marketing support.
  • Help plan and deliver the company-hosted event planned for next year.
  • Create simple, repeatable playbooks and checklists, and test AI tools to speed up event preparation and follow-up.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of events or field marketing experience, including time at a startup.
  • Proven record of running several events at once from start to finish, including budgets, vendors, and on-site work.
  • Hands-on experience setting up lead capture and campaign tagging in a CRM or marketing automation tool such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo.
  • Experience running webinars or virtual events from promotion through follow-up.
  • Resourceful enough to build your own processes and tools when none exist.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, and a habit of raising risks early with sales and marketing partners.
  • Willing to travel to events, including during the busy fall season.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a mission-driven approach.
  • Bonus: experience running events for healthcare, health system, or HR and workforce audiences.
  • Bonus: experience helping launch a company's flagship event or customer summit.
  • Bonus: experience in EdTech, workforce development, or healthcare.

Conditions

Target base salary is $110,000 to $130,000. Total rewards include equity and benefits, and actual pay may differ from the target based on experience, internal pay equity, and other business factors.

Hybrid from the NYC office or fully remote, with up to 30% travel.

Open only to US citizens and visa holders.

Interview process: an introductory call with Talent Acquisition, an interview with the Hiring Manager, a take-home assignment, a virtual panel interview, and an on-site panel interview.
