Expert Cisco Voice & Collaboration Engineer (m/f/d)

You will join the Workplace Services team to design, build, run and support voice and collaboration services across a complex global setup, using Cisco Unified Communications, Webex, CUBE, SIP/PSTN and related network technologies. You will own difficult technical problems and keep raising reliability, security and performance.

Responsibilities

• Run, tune and improve Cisco Webex (Teams, Meetings and Calling) so collaboration services stay reliable and fast.
• Design, deploy and support Cisco Unified Communications, including CUBE, voice gateways and Cisco ISR and C8XXX platforms.
• Handle PSTN connections, SIP trunks, voice and video protocols, codecs and signaling.
• Diagnose and fix complex voice, video, collaboration and network faults to keep services available and users satisfied.
• Maintain the network beneath collaboration services, covering IP networking, NAT, routing, DNS and DHCP.
• Carry out deployments, upgrades, integrations and ongoing improvements across a global enterprise.
• Take part in projects and technology roadmaps, work with global IT teams, stakeholders and vendors, and keep technical documentation current.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification or practical experience.
• You have worked for several years in unified communications, collaboration, voice engineering or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on depth in Cisco Webex (Teams, Meetings, Calling) and Cisco Unified Communications.
• Solid work with CUBE, PSTN, SIP trunking, voice gateways, voice and video protocols and codecs.
• You understand IP networking, NAT, routing, DNS and DHCP well, ideally with experience on Cisco ISR and C8XXX devices.
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex communication and connectivity issues.
• You communicate well, manage stakeholders effectively, and write and speak fluent English.
