Description

Our Global Structure

The company is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

The company's Enterprise Systems Engineering team builds and runs the tools our employees use every day: Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, identity, and device management. We lean toward building: less "click through the admin console," more writing the automation, integrations, and services that make those platforms work at scale.

The team's priorities span a few ongoing areas of work, including:

Platform consolidation and integration as the company continues to grow, including through acquisition.

Employee-focused AI tooling that helps people work more efficiently.

The communication and collaboration platforms the whole company relies on (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and similar).

Building tools and automation that remove manual work from how the team and company operate.

You'll bring real technical strength in one or more of these areas. Some of the work will be clearly scoped; some of it won't be. Working through ambiguous, not-yet-defined problems is part of the role, this is complex, genuinely challenging territory, and a place to learn and grow. You won't be doing that alone: you'll work with senior engineers to break ambiguous problems down, and build your own ability to do that independently over time. It's a hands-on engineering role: you'll be building real pieces of this work yourself, not primarily administering platforms by hand or managing support tickets.

Responsibilities

  • Take on projects ranging from clearly scoped to genuinely ambiguous, working with senior engineers to break down the harder ones, and growing your own ability to do that over time.
  • Build automation and tooling that removes manual work from how we run our SaaS and identity platforms.
  • Help administer and support platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and our identity systems, including day-to-day troubleshooting.
  • Write clear documentation for the work you do, so others can pick it up.
  • Work with teammates, Security, People, and Corporate Development/M&A stakeholders to understand requirements before you build.
  • Use GenAI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to automate repeatable parts of your own work, like scripting, research, and documentation.
  • Build technical depth in one or more of the team's core platform areas over time.

Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who can learn our environment and grow into these areas, not someone who's already used every platform in our stack.
  • Solid experience administering and working on projects with enterprise SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian etc.
  • Experience with identity and SSO systems (e.g. Okta)
  • Software engineering or scripting skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, or other general-purpose languages and experience with the APIs of the team's core platforms above.
  • Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software. AI is your default way of working, not an add-on.
  • Good to have
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Exposure to device management/MDM and VDI.
  • Knowledge of data security and identity best practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting browser-based applications.
  • Experience with Google Workspace developer tools (Apps Script, Workspace APIs).
