Description

The company is building a unified location platform for autonomy, safety, and efficiency across industries such as robotics and transportation. The team is small, collaborative, and focused on fast delivery.

This is a European events field marketing role. The goal is to turn marketing spend into qualified pipeline, with brand visibility and customer engagement as secondary aims. The role is hands-on and execution-first, with minimal oversight expected.

Success is measured by the volume and quality of pipeline from events, both virtual and in person. Events, sponsorships, and field activity are the means to that pipeline, not goals in themselves.

You will work with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to choose and run events across Europe, from strategy and budget through to post-event pipeline handoff. You will be the region's on-the-ground marketing owner and turn local market knowledge into an events calendar that produces pipeline and positions the company as a leader in precise location.

Responsibilities

  • Own the European event calendar: identify, prioritise, and select conferences, trade shows, and customer events that support pipeline and brand goals.
  • Build the business case for each event covering audience fit, expected pipeline, cost, and ROI, and defend it within a limited budget.
  • Keep reviewing the regional event landscape and move investment toward what performs.
  • Run all logistics for each event, including booth and sponsorship design, shipping, staffing, collateral, signage, and on-site coordination, in line with central events, brand, and product teams.
  • Arrange speaking slots, demos, and customer meetings on site to get the most from each event.
  • Manage vendors, venues, and local partners across several European countries and languages.
  • Make sure each event has pre-event outreach, on-site lead capture, and post-event follow-up, working with marketing, business development, and sales.
  • Track pipeline, cost per lead, and event ROI and report them to the business, aligning with central processes and the Marketing Ops team.
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success to make sure event-sourced leads convert.
  • Build the company's brand and reputation across Europe through field presence, local press, partner co-marketing, and customer moments.
  • Organise smaller gatherings outside large industry events, such as dinners, roundtables, and regional meetups, to bring partners, customers, and prospects together.
  • Adapt global messaging for European markets and act as the local voice of the brand.
  • Bridge European Sales with the global Marketing and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation, with direct ownership of event strategy and execution in a high-growth startup.
  • A record of running high-impact events and conferences from planning through to pipeline delivery, done in a resourceful, do-it-yourself way.
  • Able to own budget, ROI reporting, and vendor negotiation independently.
  • Experience marketing to technical or engineering audiences.
  • Strong project management, with the ability to run several events at once across countries and time zones.
  • Able to travel up to 50% across Europe.
  • Preferred: experience marketing into robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, drones, industrial automation, or federal technologies.
  • Preferred: fluency in a second European language besides English.
  • Preferred: experience building a field marketing function in Europe.
  • Preferred: experience working closely with sales in a B2B, enterprise, or deep-tech sales motion. GNSS experience is welcome but not required.

Conditions

Work pattern follows a culture built on moving fast with efficient effort to stay ahead. Autonomy is high, and advancement is mostly through internal promotion, based on delivering in the current role.

Behaviours expected: assume good intent, bias toward action, keep seeking feedback, collaborate without ego, and take ownership. Operating norms: act before seeking approval, go directly to the source, and put the customer outcome first.

Equal opportunity applies.
