Description

The company is a private intelligence firm that helps organisations manage risk, spot opportunity and build resilience. This role places you inside a client's global security and risk management functions.

You will identify, investigate, assess and communicate threats and emerging risks affecting people, operations, assets, facilities and brand reputation.

The role calls for a solid grasp of intelligence analysis, investigative methods, threat actor research and open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection. You will turn complex information into intelligence that helps decision-makers reduce risk and improve security operations.

You will work with corporate security, physical security, investigations and business operations teams to produce timely intelligence products, investigative findings and operational support.

The team is in the company's own work, with high-profile clients and real-world stakes. The company is growing quickly and is open to people at different career stages.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse information from a range of sources to spot threats, risks and emerging trends affecting people, operations, assets, facilities and brand reputation.
  • Investigate online activity and assess threat actors, online communities, suspicious behaviour and emerging risks for corporate and physical security.
  • Write intelligence products, investigative reports, alerts and briefings that support decisions and risk mitigation.
  • Use OSINT techniques, social media analysis, public records research and commercial intelligence platforms to collect intelligence and support investigations.
  • Build investigative leads, carry out due diligence and attribution research, and pull findings from scattered sources into usable intelligence.
  • Sort and answer requests for intelligence and investigative support, giving stakeholders quick and relevant insight.
  • Help with critical incident response by researching, analysing and passing on relevant information fast.
  • Keep intelligence records, analytical databases and case management systems up to date for ongoing work.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve threat identification, risk mitigation and security outcomes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Intelligence Studies, Business Management, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in threat intelligence, intelligence analysis, investigations, OSINT, corporate security, trust and safety or a related area.
  • Proven experience carrying out investigative research, intelligence collection and threat analysis.
  • Experience researching threat actors, online communities or emerging security threats.
  • A record of producing high-quality analytical reports and intelligence products.
  • Strong proficiency in OSINT collection, social media analysis, public records research and online investigation techniques.
  • Experience with commercial investigative and intelligence platforms such as LexisNexis, Dataminr, Flashpoint or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including spotting patterns, assessing risk and producing actionable intelligence from complex information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for reports, briefings and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage several priorities in a dynamic setting and handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience using AI and emerging technologies to improve research, information analysis, investigative workflows and efficiency.
  • Commitment to objectivity, professional ethics, analytical rigour and continuous learning.
  • The role is moderately self-directed and requires following company policies, procedures and values. It involves regular collaboration with the team and stakeholders, and communication by phone, videophone or text.
  • Travel of up to 5% may be required.
