The company develops and produces automotive electronics as part of a group of more than 400,000 employees across 60 countries. Its Car Multimedia unit employs about 3,600 people and treats the car as a third living space.
You will help move the software for next-generation radar systems from development into production.
The role sits where embedded software, hardware, security, validation and manufacturing meet. Software from several technical teams has to come together as a mature, validated, production-ready result.
You will track technical dependencies, make software maturity visible, and make sure the right content and configurations are in place before anything goes into production.
This is mainly a coordination role. Connecting people, untangling dependencies and moving open topics forward matter as much as your embedded software knowledge.
You will grow your understanding of radar system-level dependencies over time and take on broader coordination topics as you progress.
Responsibilities
Organise the preparation and handover of production-ready embedded software, making sure required contributions and production-relevant configurations are complete and consistent.
Manage dependencies and open items across embedded software, hardware, security, validation, project management and manufacturing.
Report on software maturity, validation status, dependencies, delivery risks and open issues, and push for clarification or escalation when needed.
Serve as the central contact for software-related production readiness and manufacturing questions, routing each issue to the right technical owner.
Run validation and readiness checks to catch incomplete, incorrect or incompatible software before it reaches manufacturing.
Lead technical discussions and decisions across several teams, with clear ownership and steady follow-up on actions.
Reduce recurring problems in the software-to-production process and help make releases more robust.
Look for ways to apply software-defined and agentic engineering to improve engineering and delivery work.
Requirements
You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a closely related technical field.
You have worked in embedded software development, software integration, technical coordination, validation, release management or systems engineering.
You have coordinated software dependencies or deliverables across different technical teams.
You have handled software integration and release processes in complex embedded environments.
You understand embedded systems, software lifecycles, integration and release processes.
You know software configuration management and what makes a production software configuration.
You understand the validation and readiness work needed before software is released or deployed.
You can reason about how software, hardware, security and manufacturing depend on each other within complex embedded systems.
You have very good written and spoken English for working with international, cross-functional engineering teams.
You work through complex dependencies in a structured, analytical and solution-focused way.
You make priorities, risks, dependencies and decisions visible to others.
You spot potential problems early and bring the right stakeholders in before they affect production.
You coordinate several technical topics and teams without formal authority over them.
You balance technical depth with a firm focus on delivery, quality and production readiness.
You communicate well and enjoy connecting people across technical disciplines.
You take ownership of topics and follow them through to resolution.
You build alignment among stakeholders with different priorities, with confidence and a collaborative approach.
You are curious about moving from embedded software into radar and system-level engineering.
You like improving processes and trying new approaches that make engineering work more efficient.
Exposure to manufacturing, industrialisation or production deployment is valuable.
Experience in automotive electronics or radar systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of production environments and their particular software requirements and constraints is valuable.
Understanding of production-related security configurations and release content management is an advantage.
Interest in software-defined and agentic engineering and its use in engineering processes is valued.
