DSP Software Engineer

Description

The company works on autonomous driving, ADAS, AD, HAD and active safety projects. This senior role is based at the Indiana Technical Center in Carmel, IN, and relocation within the USA is offered.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate embedded software for radar digital signal processing that supports adjacent markets.
• Design, create and enhance functions for next-generation automotive radar, tracking and sensor fusion algorithms, ACC, FCW/AEB, vehicle controls and blind spot detection.
• Write low-level C/C++ code.
• Test software with debuggers, emulators and simulators, run quality assurance activities, and write unit and integration tests.
• Work closely and professionally with other teams on the project.
• Review peers' code and give constructive comments and suggestions.
• Find the technical root cause of problems and propose corrective actions.
• Use configuration management, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers.
• Work in an agile development setting.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of embedded software design and development.
• Experience with digital signal processing.
• You must have the legal right to work in the US and will never need visa sponsorship or a visa transfer, now or at any point in the future.
• A master's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with MathWorks MATLAB, linear algebra, or related coursework.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of multicore or multiprocessor system implementation.
• Experience with device drivers, CAN and CAN FD communication, SPI and MCAL.
• Experience with memory management, memory optimization, and performance measurement and tuning.
• Embedded development experience in radar or other perception systems.
• Experience with Ethernet and CAN communication.
• Understanding of and experience with ISO 26262 compliant software design and development.
• Understanding of embedded operating systems, POSIX or non-POSIX.
• Experience with AUTOSAR software development or integration is an advantage.
• ADAS software development experience.
