The company is an embedded semiconductor provider with more than 21,000 engineers in over 30 countries, serving automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets.
This director role leads the global business, portfolio and go-to-market plan for next-generation PMIC products for Edge AI and Physical AI platforms.
You will connect customer power needs with differentiated roadmaps for AI PCs, robotics, smart vision, industrial AI, AR/VR/XR, edge servers and autonomous systems.
Success will be measured by revenue growth, gross margin and market share; roadmap quality and approved business cases; design-win capture and conversion to production; pipeline growth and new customer acquisition; competitive differentiation in priority Edge AI ecosystems; and cross-functional execution, talent development and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
Set the global business strategy, multi-year growth plan, revenue outlook and portfolio priorities for Edge AI PMIC products.
Lead the PMIC roadmap for AI PCs, robotics, autonomous machines, smart cameras, industrial AI, AR/VR/XR, edge servers and intelligent networking.
Turn customer and platform requirements into product specifications, cost targets, launch priorities and business cases.
Lead engagement with key OEMs, ODMs, processor vendors and ecosystem partners, from early architecture through design win and production ramp.
Work with Sales on account strategy, opportunity qualification, funnel reviews, forecasting and converting design wins.
Coordinate with Engineering, Applications, Systems, Operations, Finance and regional marketing teams worldwide.
Present market trends, competitive intelligence, portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team as the scope grows.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer or power electronics engineering, or a closely related technical field.
15+ years in the semiconductor industry, including 10+ years in product, business, strategic or technical marketing or product line management.
At least 5 years directly owning portfolio revenue, gross margin, pricing, roadmap and lifecycle decisions.
Proven record of taking semiconductor products from market need and business case through launch, design wins, qualification and volume production.
Experience building market models, revenue forecasts, product investment proposals and executive portfolio reviews.
Track record working closely with global Sales, R&D, Applications, Operations and Finance teams.
Experience engaging senior technical and business leaders at OEMs, ODMs, semiconductor platform companies or major ecosystem partners.
Strong working knowledge of PMIC architectures, including multi-rail power trees, buck, boost and buck-boost conversion, multi-phase regulation, power sequencing, telemetry, protection and thermal tradeoffs.
Understanding of power requirements for CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, AI accelerators, memory and high-speed interfaces, including dynamic load behavior and power optimization.
Ability to weigh efficiency, transient response, solution size, thermal performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability at the system level.
Knowledge of semiconductor product development, qualification, packaging, supply chain, cost structure and lifecycle management.
Ability to turn technical capabilities into customer value and differentiated product positioning.
Proven leadership of complex global initiatives, influencing cross-functional teams without relying solely on direct authority.
Strong executive communication, customer presentation, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Able to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing markets and turn incomplete information into clear priorities.
Experience hiring, coaching and developing product marketing or business management talent.
Preferred: an advanced technical degree or an MBA.
Preferred: direct product or business experience in AI PCs, Edge AI processors, robotics, smart cameras, industrial automation, AR/VR/XR, edge servers or Physical AI systems.
Preferred: experience defining PMICs or power architectures for high-performance processors, AI accelerators, battery-powered AI devices or embedded compute platforms.
Preferred: familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, AMD, Intel, MediaTek, Arm-based or other Edge AI platform ecosystems.
