DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud architectures that combine AWS services, commercial off-the-shelf products, and custom code.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of Linux experience, including running applications and troubleshooting problems.
• You have worked with DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or GitHub.
• You are proficient with AWS managed services including EC2 (ELB, AMI, ASG), Route 53, RDS, S3, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and similar.
• You have used AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Fargate, and similar tools to build, deploy, and manage serverless architectures.
• You have deployed application stacks with Jenkins pipelines written in Groovy, CloudFormation, and the Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• You understand web application authentication methods such as SAML, OIDC, PKI, and basic auth.
• You have built, deployed, and maintained custom container images in cloud environments.
• You have a basic understanding of container-based solutions.
• Bonus: experience with Kubernetes.
• Bonus: programming and debugging in Python and Bash. Experience in other programming languages is desired.

Conditions

Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

Under local law, the company shares pay ranges for hired roles in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, based on labor costs.

The base pay range for this role in those locations is $118,700 - $225,100 USD.

Pay varies with factors including office location, role, skill set, and experience level.
