DevOps Engineer (Multiple Positions Available)

The team is hiring several DevOps Engineers in Palo Alto, CA, to manage the interface and coordination with all external service providers and vendors that support data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Run IMAC-D services and processes, including goods receipt.
• Plan data center capacity and support hardware maintenance.
• Work with data center inventory or asset management, and manage data center access and access control.
• Keep data accurate and produce reports on data quality.
• Handle tickets in ServiceNow.
• Make sure customer cloud environments for each product line are delivered on time and within the defined service level agreements.
• Build automation and standards that keep operations running smoothly and uptime as high as possible.
• Work with engineering, product management and other service groups.
• Strengthen system support across your assigned functional areas.
• Take ownership of effective system operation across the software lifecycle.
• Share knowledge within the team and between operations and development.
• Hold all processes in the relevant process map to a high quality standard.
• Help shape the operations model and its procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, information systems or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience after graduation in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Alternatively, hold a master's degree or foreign equivalent in one of the same fields, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Show at least three (3) years of experience in each of the following: data center electrical configurations, data center mechanical configurations, data center IMAC-D processes, SAP S/4 production planning, service request handling in ServiceNow, stock inventory using the S/4 material master, and chain-of-custody handling of data-bearing components.

Conditions

Hybrid work model.

Based in Palo Alto, CA.

No travel is required.

The base salary range is $183,872 to $206,460 per year.

The total targeted range including variable incentive is $183,872 to $229,400 per year.

The final offer falls within the range and depends on education, skills, experience, location, scope of the role and the selection process.
