Description

The company builds the discovery, orchestration, and payment layer for the internet. Through one integration, AI agents can find new capabilities, use services right away, and pay for them without friction.

The founders previously built payments, API, infrastructure, and AI products at Coinbase, Vercel, Google, and Amazon Robotics.

You would be one of the first engineering hires and work directly with the founders. Your role sits between design and engineering.

The interview process has five steps: an intro conversation with the recruiting team, a conversation with a co-founder, a technical interview, a work trial or onsite, and then an offer.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a React and TypeScript design system and component library.
• Convert Figma designs into production-ready UI, paying close attention to typography, motion, and accessibility.
• Prototype new interactions and product ideas in code, then ship them yourself.
• Work with engineers to keep the front end fast and easy to maintain.
• Own front-end quality by reviewing UI pull requests, catching visual regressions, and setting a high standard.
• Improve performance and accessibility across the product.
• Write down patterns and tooling so the team can keep building consistently without you.

Requirements

• 5+ years of building production front-end interfaces, ideally as a design engineer or on a design systems team.
• Experience at a startup or on a fast-moving product team.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
• Fluency in Figma and the ability to translate design intent into code.
• A solid understanding of data structures, system design, and API design.
• A bias toward ownership and curiosity, with a preference for simple solutions to complex problems.
• You prefer autonomy over process.
