Description

The company makes an AI-driven CRM where people and agents work together on customer success.

This Software Engineering SMTS role sits in the Digital Marketing Technology group and builds the features that shape website visitor experiences across the company's digital ecosystem worldwide.

The team's focus is driving innovation in digital experiences using top-tier technology and systems.

You will cover architecture, design, implementation and testing so products ship with high quality and the platform stays stable and scalable.

You will work alongside highly regarded engineers on features customers will want to adopt.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new solutions for the company's website that make the experience engaging for visitors and customers.
  • Build scalable frontend components and systems using modern web standards such as HTML5, ES6+ and CSS3 within component-based architectures.
  • Own features from design to delivery: write design specs, define test strategies, and ship code that meets standards for quality, performance and observability.
  • Lead frontend architecture decisions and review designs and code with the team.
  • Keep improving the team's development processes, culture and codebase.
  • Use AI tools such as Agentforce, Slackbot, Cursor, Claude and Codex in your daily engineering work, and help the team adopt them.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, UX designers and performance engineers to ship customer-focused features without compromising stability or scalability.
  • Mentor others on frontend technologies, development practices and engineering excellence.
  • Present and defend technical designs to stakeholders and give constructive feedback on others' architectural proposals.
  • Drive quality through thorough testing, automation frameworks and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of production frontend development on large-scale, complex web applications.
  • Expert-level skill in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3 and TypeScript.
  • Strong React experience; Angular, Vue and Ember are also considered.
  • Hands-on use of modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, Rollup, esbuild and npm or Yarn.
  • Experience with mobile-first responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of web performance and security best practices.
  • Understanding of component architecture, including MVC patterns, design systems and web components.
  • Testing expertise in Test Driven Development, Jest, Playwright, Cucumber and frontend testing methods.
  • Strong communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.
  • A related technical degree is required.
  • Proven experience in marketing technologies, especially content management, classification and taxonomy, and customer identity experiences.
  • A track record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems.
  • Even better if: you have built and scaled component libraries from scratch as part of a design system.
  • Even better if: you have worked with identity and authentication systems such as OAuth, SAML, SSO, user management and security protocols.
  • Even better if: you take an AI-first approach to engineering, actively using tools like Claude, Cursor and Codex to move faster and help the team do the same.
  • Even better if: you are an accessibility champion with experience in WCAG compliance and inclusive design.
  • Even better if: you have experience implementing internationalization or localization.
