Description

The company builds large-scale AI platforms and works with major cloud service providers and their server development partners.

The role is an early access partner enablement position focused on AI and high performance computing, and suits people with strong engineering or program management backgrounds who can work hands-on, pay close attention to detail and juggle several priorities in a quick-moving setting.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and roll out the company's reference AI supercomputer datacenter designs at ODM partners.
  • Work with internal server AI product design teams on next-generation projects and product roadmaps.
  • Learn the cloud provider datacenter environment, including power and cooling, and advise on what future designs will need.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and industry partners to meet the infrastructure needs of cloud providers.
  • Answer cloud provider questions about modifications and integration, from design through datacenter standup.
  • Write enablement plans, documentation and processes so ODMs can design and manufacture new products based on company designs quickly.
  • Advise ODMs on current and future technologies and confirm they have the technical and manufacturing capacity to produce them.
  • Diagnose and fix real-time issues ODMs run into during design and manufacturing.
  • Report status and escalate issues internally, offering recommendations when trade-offs are hard.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in applied science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in server development, or in program management of server development, across different datacenter environments.
  • Understanding of AI server tray and rack architecture, including assembly, testing, debugging and datacenter integration.
  • Solid grasp of server high-speed signaling and the trade-offs among electrical, power, thermal and mechanical design.
  • Detailed knowledge of datacenter industry partners, including CSPs, OEMs and ODMs, and component vendors.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, CLI shells, programming and scripting.
  • Experience developing or using diagnostic test software for servers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to work closely with architects and deployment teams to agree on product requirements.
  • Experience running programs and projects across multiple functional teams and companies.
  • Experience debugging and solving complex system problems.

Conditions

Your base salary depends on your location, experience and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary range is 168,000 USD to 264,500 USD.
