The team is hiring a senior Data Engineer to design, build and support enterprise data products, analytics platforms and integration solutions. The work involves scalable data pipelines, modern Lakehouse architectures, linking operational and enterprise systems, and supporting reporting, analytics and digital transformation efforts.

The role calls for strong Databricks skills and experience building reusable, governed data products used by several business and operational groups.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Have 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data platforms, analytics engineering, data integration or related fields.
• Have 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, Industrial IoT (IoT), Operational Technology (OT), supply chain, logistics, asset management or other operationally intensive environments.
• Have a strong record of designing and implementing enterprise data pipelines.
• Be strong in SQL and Python development.
• Have integrated several enterprise and operational data sources.
• Experience with cloud data platforms is expected, with Azure preferred.
• Have supported production data solutions and enterprise analytics environments.
• Have implemented data quality, validation and monitoring processes.
• Have worked with structured, semi-structured and event-based data.
• Technical skills: Databricks, SQL, Python, ETL / ELT development, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Bronze / Silver / Gold (Medallion) architecture, data integration, data modeling, data quality and validation, data lineage, data product development, Git, CI/CD fundamentals, Power BI, cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strongly preferred: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog, data contracts, reusable integration frameworks, enterprise data sharing patterns, semantic models and reporting consumption layers, RTLS platforms, MES systems, OPC-UA, MQTT, Kafka, Event Hub, SCADA / PLC environments, Ignition, manufacturing analytics, Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Preferred tools: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL Server, Power BI, Python, Jupyter Notebooks.
