Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable pipelines that pull data from casino source systems, transform it in detail, and deliver tuned datasets for analytics and downstream use.
• Write production-grade Python and Node.js code that is reliable, fast and easy to maintain.
• Design and maintain data models that reflect business areas and support analysis.
• Use ETL orchestration tools to schedule, watch and run workflows in production.
• Tune queries and processing logic so large volumes of transaction data run efficiently.
• Keep data correct across the pipeline by validating, testing and monitoring it.
• Diagnose and fix data quality problems, pipeline failures and slowdowns.
• Work with data scientists, analysts and product staff to pin down their data needs and meet them.
• Write up pipelines, data models and technical choices so the team can understand and maintain them.

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
• You are strong in SQL and have hands-on experience modelling data for analytics or reporting.
• You are proficient in Python and Node.js for data processing and pipeline development.
• You have worked with ETL orchestration platforms to build, schedule and run production data workflows.
• You understand ETL and ELT patterns and the trade-offs of building pipelines at scale.
• You are comfortable working in Linux to deploy pipelines and handle operational tasks.
• You can work alone on well-defined problems and make sound technical decisions with little supervision.
• You pay close attention to detail and are committed to data quality and reliability.
• You communicate clearly and can explain technical decisions and data concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Plus: experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, though it is not required.
