Its titles rank near the top of charts in many countries and reach over 25 million daily active users.

The team is building a new player rewards platform. Players of casual, free-to-play mobile games earn points, finish challenges and can win real prizes. The platform is central to the company's growth plans.

The role sits in the team that combines fraud and activity signals into user segments, which feed revenue-share decisions. You will work with the analyst who handles gameplay signals, plus product and data colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Review fraud signals on a regular basis, adding, dropping and tuning them so suspicious activity can be told apart from genuine users. Signals under review include IP spoofing, VPN use and unusual play patterns.
• Own the fraud-related user segments, from deciding how signals are read to tracking how well each segment performs over time.
• Revisit those signals as fraud tactics shift, and help the product team choose which verification methods suit each market.
• Work with the product team on verification tools for different markets. The team uses a third-party tool for facial verification today and may need methods such as ID scanning or phone verification in other countries.
• Investigate users sent to manual review, including unclear cases in the Tremendous review queue, and find ways to make that review work better.
• Spot gaps in the available signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap where they would help.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and to shape detection or prevention decisions, beyond supporting a fraud team from the side.
• Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments or review processes, and an interest in how those choices change as tactics evolve.
• The ability to work with product and other teams to turn your analysis into fraud controls that run in day-to-day operations.

Conditions

This role is open to candidates based in Europe. Warsaw is preferred, as several colleagues you will work with are based there.

Hybrid working. You can work from anywhere in the world for up to 20 days a year, or use those days to cover mandatory office days from home.
