SAP iXp Intern - Data Analytics

Description

The company runs a paid global internship program for university students that helps them find purpose in their careers, and it is meant as a base for a longer career in connection, creativity and impact.

This is the SAP iXp Intern - Data Analytics role, starting in November 2026 on a contract of 6 to 12 months.

You will join the Community Programs analytics team, inside the Developer Advocacy and Community team in the Office of the CTO, which supports a platform with around 3 million monthly users.

The company has spent over 50 years in enterprise software and business AI, covering finance, procurement, HR, supply chain and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Study community engagement data to find trends and openings across the community website and the champion and mentor programs.
• Use data modeling, cluster analysis and AI techniques to spot trending topics, user interests and gaps in content.
• Build and keep up dashboards and executive reports on reach, growth and impact.
• Handle daily work for the champion and mentor programs, including onboarding, tracking and recognition.
• Help plan and run community events and meetups, including sessions at the company's main events.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science, mathematics, statistics, analytics or a related field.
• Skilled in Python, including pandas, numpy or scipy.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel, with experience building dashboards in Power BI or a similar tool.
• Able to communicate clearly and explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-minded, keeping in mind the community members and stakeholders who rely on your insights.
• A plus: familiarity with clustering, anomaly detection or web scraping methods.
• Open to working with AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate routine tasks, prototype ideas and build confidence in AI-assisted work from day one.
• Clear communication, a customer focus and enjoyment of finding smart solutions are valued at any career stage.

Conditions

Full-time internship of at least 32 hours per week.

Hybrid setup with 3 days in the office at the Newtown Square, PA location at 3999 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.

The internship is paid, and the salary range is listed in the job posting.

The actual pay will fall within that range and depend on education, skills, experience, location and scope of the role, as decided through selection.
