The company is one of the largest independent mobile game makers in the world, with 2,500+ people across 12 studios.

Its portfolio includes some of the biggest mobile titles, which have topped charts worldwide and reach over 25 million daily active users.

The team is building a rewards platform where players earn points, complete challenges and win real prizes by playing free-to-play casual mobile games.

The platform combines fraud and activity signals to understand users and guide revenue-share decisions.

Responsibilities

• Revisit the fraud signals behind the user segments regularly, since fraud tactics keep shifting.
• Add, remove and refine signals so suspicious activity can be separated from genuine players. Signals under consideration include unusual play patterns, VPN use and IP spoofing.
• Own the fraud segments of the user segmentation system, from how signals are read to how well each category performs over time.
• Work with the gameplay signals analyst, product and data colleagues to keep the system useful.
• Work with product on fraud verification tools for each market. FaceTec handles facial verification today, and other markets may need ID scanning or phone verification.
• Investigate users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases in the review queue, and find ways to make that review process better.
• Spot gaps in the available signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap where they would add value.

Requirements

• You have hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and to shape detection or prevention decisions, not only supporting a fraud team.
• You have designed or improved fraud signals, user segments or review processes, and you follow how those choices change as tactics evolve.
• You can work with product and other teams to turn analysis into fraud controls that run in day-to-day operations.

Conditions

Open to candidates based in Europe. Warsaw is preferred, where several colleagues are located.
