  • Follow established playbooks and procedures while building your investigative skills and technical depth.

  • Clearance: the role may require a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. You must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. An active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to triage alerts and tell false positives from real threats.
  • Familiarity with common attack techniques such as phishing and malware.
  • Ability to document investigations clearly and concisely.
  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn from senior analysts.
  • Basic understanding of the incident response lifecycle.
  • Preferred: DoD 8570/8140 compliant with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment (CE) credential, and one approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
