Description

The company runs a large, fast-growing network of public charter schools in New York and is expanding into Florida. Its work depends on families, teachers, staff, and supporters, and it aims to give every child a rigorous, whole-child education wherever they live and whatever their family's income.

This CRM Business Analyst role turns CRM, marketing, and business needs into Salesforce and HubSpot solutions. The work covers customer engagement, campaign execution, lead and opportunity handling, data quality, and reporting, and involves working with cross-functional stakeholders to set requirements, improve tools, and keep getting better.

Responsibilities

  • Turn organizational goals into a prioritized CRM roadmap focused on efficiency, visibility, and adoption, and flag risks to deliverables and timelines early.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, then align stakeholders and technical partners using user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution documents.
  • Improve acquisition, campaign, segmentation, nurturing, conversion, and engagement workflows to cut manual work, raise data quality, and drive platform adoption.
  • Lead solution delivery by defining and validating requirements and enhancements, managing dependencies, and supporting planning, testing, releases, and post-release checks.
  • Define and refine CRM and marketing data, reporting, dashboards, KPIs, segmentation, and governance rules so the team can draw accurate insights and make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate testing, training, communications, documentation, adoption, and post-release monitoring to keep platform use effective, governed, and continuously improving.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent platform business analyst, CRM analyst, marketing analyst, systems analyst, or in a closely related role.
  • Hands-on skill in data analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and user acceptance training.
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, marketing, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Understand data structures, business rules, data quality, integrations, and governance so CRM data is reliable and used responsibly.
  • Turn complex business problems into clear requirements, identify the underlying needs, and build structured, automated, actionable solutions.
  • Review current workflows, spot inefficiencies, and recommend scalable changes that cut manual effort and improve outcomes.
  • Build trust with stakeholders, explain technical topics in business terms, and take feedback well.
  • Keep learning, adjust to shifting priorities and new information, and respond thoughtfully to changing business needs.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in the NYC Financial District office: on site Tuesday through Thursday and remote on Monday and Friday.

Pay is $115,000 - $125,000 USD. Pay is competitive, matches experience, and may vary with skills and experience.
