What you'll be doing...

We are looking for a visionary Creative Director, AI Marketing & Design Innovation to lead the charge at the absolute nexus of creativity, artificial intelligence, and technological advancement. This isn't a role for a passive overseer; it’s for a digital creative native and master systems-thinker who thrives in shaping next-generation brand expressions across digital platforms, intelligent commerce, and experimental activations.

You will report directly to the Senior Managing Director of Creative, Technology and Innovation within the company's In-house Creative Agency. Partnering closely with strategy, product, media, data, and technology teams, you will lead, support, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and creative technologists to concept, prototype, and deliver integrated campaigns, branded platforms, and productized experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Brand & Design Leadership: Systemize and support creative direction across campaigns, digital products, content platforms, and experiential brand moments. Champion modern, modular brand design systems that adapt across surfaces and audiences.
  • Architect AI & Computational Workflows: Build node-based, computational creative systems, generative pipelines, and modular toolchains. Act as the "director of models"—deciding which models do which jobs (storyboarding, stills, motion, voice) and sequencing them into a single, cohesive piece of work.
  • Establish Creative Systems Thinking: Treat prompts, models, and pipelines as raw design material rather than just tools. Maintain a version-controlled prompt and workflow library to ensure what works becomes a standardized, repeatable asset.
  • Own Taste & Safety Validation: Guide creative teams on the ethical, brand-safe use of generative technologies (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Sora, ChatGPT), acting as the ultimate arbiter of taste to ensure speed and scale never compromise craft or brand integrity.
  • Innovate E-Commerce & Digital Products: Lead creative development for immersive, omni-channel e-commerce experiences (the company's site, My the company App) and performance-aware campaigns that fuel acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Pioneer Experimental Storytelling: Drive the execution of AR, XR, spatial experiences, AI avatars, and dynamic brand utilities. Build generative and procedural systems that produce brand-native, data-responsive, and personalized creative at scale.
  • Lead & Mentor: Manage, inspire, and elevate a dedicated cross-disciplinary team of art directors, UX designers, copywriters, and creative technologists, fostering a studio culture of speed, curiosity, and technical brilliance.
  • AI as Your Creative Co-Pilot
  • We don't just adopt technology; we pioneer it. At the company, we believe AI shouldn’t replace human genius—it should liberate it. In this role, you won't just tolerate GenAI; you will champion it to supercharge our creative development pipeline. We leverage advanced AI tools to accelerate brainstorming, execute rapid visual prototyping, and smash through routine generation bottlenecks. We expect you to treat AI as an expansive, collaborative canvas—using it to test the boundaries of "what if" at lightning speed, freeing up your team to focus on what matters most: deeply human, authentic, and jaw-dropping storytelling.

Requirements

  • You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Six or more years of experience in Creative leadership within digital, integrated, or innovation environments, with a standout portfolio showing AI-fueled programs or platforms.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams (art direction, UX, creative tech, content) and building intelligent content pipelines within a large-scale Fortune 100 brand or top-tier agency.
  • Hands-on fluency with node-based, computational creative tools and generative environments (e.g., ComfyUI, Weavy, Flora, Krea) and procedural/real-time systems (e.g., TouchDesigner, Houdini, Notch, Cavalry, Unreal Engine).
  • Exceptional ability to orchestrate multiple generative models into a single pipeline, understanding where each model's capability boundary—its "jagged frontier"—actually sits, and how to sequence them into cohesive workflows.
  • Deep fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, e-commerce, UX design, content personalization, and performance marketing.
  • Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A Master’s Degree.
  • Proven experience navigating, scaling, and delivering high-stakes creative for a major Fortune 100 brand. You know how to make a massive enterprise move with the agility of a startup.
  • A deep, uncompromising passion for typography, design, photography, cinematography, and motion graphics. You know what looks good, and more importantly, why it works.
  • If the company and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
  • Where you’ll be working
  • In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours
  • 40
