About Gigs

At Gigs, we're building the operating system for mobile services—a platform that lets tech companies embed global connectivity into their products effortlessly.

Just as Stripe lets any business add a payment button in seconds, Gigs empowers platforms to weave in connectivity—bridging the traditional world of telecom with modern tech. From fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms offering work phone plans, we automate provisioning and remove telecom complexity.

Our team of around 150 people across the US and Europe, backed by nearly $100 million in funding from Ribbit Capital, Google, and Y Combinator. As one of the fastest-growing tech companies, bringing together early-stage engineers, product builders, and business athletes from companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We’re tackling deep technical and regulatory challenges to make connectivity truly seamless.

If you’re driven by curiosity, creativity, and the chance to shape the future of telecom, we’d love to hear from you.

Things We Care About

We are building in a highly complex space and tackling a massive problem. We want people who lean in when things get hard.

Speed. We move and we ship. We set bold deadlines and treat every week like it matters.

Ownership. If you see something broken, fix it. We don't wait for permission.

Customer Obsession . Our customers' product is our product.

Ambiguity. We're building frontier technology in a complex domain. You'll need sound judgement and good instincts to make decisions without complete information.

First principles. We don't ask how things have been done before. We ask why they were done that way at all.

Responsibilities

  • Gigs is entering its next phase of growth, and our brand needs to grow with it. As the company expands, we're building out our small, multidisciplinary design team to evolve how Gigs shows up across an increasing number of products, channels, and moments.
  • As a Senior Brand Designer, you’ll work closely with the Design Lead and the Brand team to take our visual language into new territories, and help build the systems and AI-powered workflows that let a small team produce at scale. You understand the business, bring ideas rather than waiting for direction, and care about craft down to the last detail.
  • This is a hands-on role for someone with strong design fundamentals, a feel for storytelling, and the systems thinking to make good work repeatable.
  • Extend Gigs’ visual identity into new territories, from ads and product marketing to merch, events and presentations. Bring a clear point of view on how the brand should flex in each one without losing cohesion.
  • Lead craft and storytelling on our most important presentations, including board, investor and key customer decks. Turn complex products and strategy into clear, compelling visual stories.
  • Design ads and product marketing visuals that bring Gigs’ products to life across channels, while staying true to the brand.
  • Think in systems. Spot patterns in what the business needs, and work with our systems designer to fold reusable solutions back into the design system.
  • Partner with the business. Work with growth, sales, marketing and leadership to understand their goals, shape requests into the right creative, and proactively suggest better solutions.
  • Own projects from brief through delivery, moving quickly and thoughtfully across concept, iteration, stakeholder feedback and final execution, and keep the Design Lead informed throughout
  • What We Are Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in brand and visual design, including in-house brand work at a growth-stage startup or tech company.
  • Excellent design fundamentals, with a high bar for typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, color and detail. This is non-negotiable.
  • A strong portfolio that shows range across brand applications, presentations, and growth or marketing work, plus a sharp eye for detail at every stage.
  • Storytelling skill: you know how to structure a narrative and make a complex idea land visually, whether in a board deck or a single ad.
  • Systems thinking: hands-on experience working within and extending design systems in Figma, and a sense for when something should become reusable.
  • Business sense: you understand commercial goals, ask the right questions, and can explain design decisions in business terms.
  • High AI fluency: you actively use AI across creative exploration and production, and you’re curious about building custom tools and workflows, not just using them.
  • Figma skills, plus fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and modern creative workflows.
  • Clear communication: you share progress without being asked, bring recommendations rather than just options, and build trust with stakeholders inside and outside design.
  • Plus if you also have:
  • Experience designing merch, physical products or environmental branding.
  • Motion design skills for social, ads or presentations.
  • Experience briefing and directing agencies or freelancers.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, telecom or another technically complex industry.
