  • Engineer and maintain Cisco networking platforms and Check Point firewalls.
  • Carry out technology refreshes, equipment replacements, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Handle Tier III/IV troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and restoration of network services.
  • Take part in 24x7x365 on-call engineering support as required.
  • Run site surveys, infrastructure assessments, installation planning, and implementation work.
  • Support DISA circuit provisioning, testing, activation, and troubleshooting.

  • Assess network capacity, utilization, performance, and reliability improvements.
  • Support enterprise cloud connectivity, application delivery, and secure network integration.
  • Perform lab testing, technology evaluations, and interoperability validation.
  • Give technical support to Government and contractor WAN management, NOC staff, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Five years of progressive IT experience, including at least two projects in Network and Telecommunications Services and Network Management. At least one of these projects must fall within the previous three years.
  • DoD Top Secret clearance, or Secret clearance with a favorably adjudicated Tier 5/SSBI investigation.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III baseline certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional - Enterprise (CCNP-E).
  • Preferred: Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or higher. If not held before hire, it must be earned after hire.
  • Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner.

Conditions

The role is onsite at the customer's location in Kleber Kaserne, Germany.

Expect about 40% travel, both CONUS and OCONUS, for installations or troubleshooting as needed.

You will spend long periods working at a computer and in offices, comm closets, warehouses, and other sites tied to network deployment and sustainment.

The projected salary is $120,000+ per year. Final pay depends on relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skills, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.

Benefits

  • 26 days of paid leave covering vacation, sick time, personal time, and holidays, used as you choose.
  • Performance bonuses based on individual contributions and company-wide results.
