Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, control and release engineering change orders (ECOs), including master engineering documentation such as original drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications and related development and production records.
• Review, maintain, control and release engineering procurement (eCart) items, covering prototype-level master documentation such as drawings, drawing markups, BOMs and specifications.
• Manage and control master files in the product data management (PDM) system, keeping all records accurate and current and releasing originals under set policies and procedures.
• Manage master data in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, creating and updating material masters, BOMs and change masters under set policies and procedures.
• Control the CAD data promotion process in Pro/Intralink so released PDM data matches what is in Pro/Intralink.
• Support the engineering community with Number Book, eCart and ECO training, and answer PDM hotline calls, direct questions, emails and phone calls.
• Test new functions in PDM, ERP and other engineering systems so daily engineering and CM work is not disrupted.
• Give informal guidance to newer team members. This role has no supervisory duties.

Conditions

Full-time position, assignee/regular employee type.

Travel: 10% of the time.

Not eligible for relocation.

Based in Austin, TX.

Salary range: $86,500.00 - $119,000.00, set by location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity with current team members.

For sales roles, the posted range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range: base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.
