Cloud Engineer Intern

Description

The team builds software for Linux-based and cloud environments, and this internship is a hands-on entry point into that work alongside experienced engineers.

The company deals with automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial, energy, medical and telecom systems, and it is a global company.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, test and maintain software applications and tools.
• Write and improve software components in C, Python, or both.
• Debug and test on Linux-based systems.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and raise software quality.
• Take part in cloud infrastructure and cloud-native projects when they come up.
• Join code reviews, team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Write up your technical work and give regular project updates.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Some software development experience from coursework, personal projects, research, internships or extracurricular activities.
• Working knowledge of C, Python, or both.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Cloud infrastructure or cloud technology exposure is a plus, but not required.
• Prior internship experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Conditions

The pay range for this role is $4,000 to $5,000. Final pay is set after interviews and a review of your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location and abilities, and in line with current team members.
