Role reference BT-449: Cloud Onboarding Engineer, Networking, at the Senior Principal skill level.

Requirements

• Prior work connecting commercial cloud setups with agency enterprise network services and security designs.
• A proven, hands-on record of building, deploying, hardening and running OCI networks.
• Experience linking OCI to enterprise networks through FastConnect, site-to-site IPSec VPN, DRGs and approved transit designs.
• Practical work with VCNs, subnets, route tables, security lists, NSGs, gateways, private endpoints and segmented layouts.
• Skill with BGP, route advertising and filtering, IP address management, DNS, NAT, proxies, firewalls, high availability and network monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose faults in routing, DNS, firewall rules, NSGs, certificates, MTU, latency and packet loss.
• Experience applying least-privilege connectivity and Zero Trust segmentation.
• Working knowledge of OCI IAM, WAF, Cloud Guard, audit logging, secrets and key management, RMF, ICD 503 and NGA A&A processes.
• Clear written and spoken communication for diagrams, connectivity designs, test procedures, runbooks and coordination with many stakeholders.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.

Desired: OCI certification at Associate or Professional level in Architect, Security, Networking or Cloud Operations.
