Cloud Engineer Intern

Description

The team builds software that runs on Linux and in the cloud. This is an internship for a student who wants hands-on work with experienced engineers.

The company delivers software for automotive and commercial vehicles, aerospace and defense, energy, enterprise, telecommunications, industrials and robotics, and medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, test, and maintain software applications and tools.
• Write and improve software components in C, Python, or both.
• Debug and test on Linux systems.
• Work with engineers to find technical problems and raise software quality.
• Help with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native projects where they apply.
• Join code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Write up your technical work and give regular project updates.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Have worked on software projects through coursework, personal projects, research, internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Know C, Python, or both.
• Be familiar with Linux.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Plus, not required: exposure to cloud infrastructure or cloud technologies.
• Preferred, not required: previous internship experience.

Conditions

The pay range for this role is $4,000 to $5,000.

Pay is set through interviews and a review of your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, along with internal equity with other team members.
