C++ Developer – ETF Technology & Infrastructure

The company is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager active in liquid asset classes worldwide, taking a technology and data driven approach with a scientific method.

The ETF technology team is hiring a C++ developer to design and build core platforms, services and infrastructure for the company's ETF business. The work centres on robust, high-performance systems and end-to-end workflows, carried out alongside engineers, researchers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance C++ applications and services for ETF platforms and infrastructure.
• Create reusable platform components covering data processing, messaging, connectivity, workflow orchestration and system integration.
• Build dependable services that ingest real-time and reference data from internal and external sources.
• Design automated, event-driven solutions for multi-stage business workflows.
• Make systems controlled and auditable, with validation, monitoring and operational tooling.
• Raise the performance, resilience, scalability and observability of production systems.
• Connect new components to the company's wider technology and data ecosystem.
• Work with engineers, researchers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into sound, maintainable designs.
• Shape technical design, testing standards, code quality and long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience writing performance-sensitive applications in modern C++.
• Solid grounding in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design and software architecture.
• Hands-on work with multithreaded, concurrent and event-driven code.
• Strong experience building and running software on Linux.
• A track record of reliable production systems that handle real-time or high-volume data.
• Experience designing APIs, messaging services or integrations with external systems and data providers.
• Working knowledge of distributed systems, failure handling, testing, monitoring and production support.
• Practical understanding of the ETF ecosystem: products, data, market structure, participants, conventions and operational lifecycles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Experience in ETF, asset management, investment banking or wider financial markets technology.
• Familiarity with ETF reference data, pricing data, lifecycle events and related operational processes.
• Experience with market data feeds, financial messaging standards, connectivity protocols or middleware.
• Experience designing and running resilient distributed systems in production.
• Familiarity with Python or another language used for tooling, integration or data analysis.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerisation, CI/CD and modern observability tools.

Conditions

Base salary is $180,000 to $300,000 per year.
