The company provides AI infrastructure for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, covering everything from deductions to production planning.

One platform brings together cash application, deductions, disputes, trade promotion management, forecasting, demand planning and analytics, saving time and supporting better top- and bottom-line decisions.

You will work with engineering, product and customers to turn complicated operational processes into dependable, scalable software.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow the core platform that runs financial workflows for CPG brands.
• Create systems that take in and process financial and operational data from many sources.
• Write backend services and APIs that support analytics, forecasting and automation.
• Build AI-driven workflows that process documents and extract financial data.
• Design clear product interfaces that turn complex financial data into insights people can act on.
• Work with product, and occasionally customers, to understand workflows and deliver solutions quickly.
• Example work: AI-based ingestion of invoices, deductions and retailer reports; scaling pipelines that pull financial data from several retailer systems; building analytics for forecasting and demand planning; creating internal tools and features that simplify financial workflows; improving the speed and reliability of core platform services.
• You may also work on AI (computer vision and NLP) processing of financial documents, expanding data collection across sources, financial analytics and forecasting, direct customer work to shape intuitive UX, and user interfaces that simplify complex data.

Requirements

• You have a strong technical background, including 2+ full-time engineering internships.
• Backend or ML/AI experience is highly preferred.
• You bring scrappiness and a willingness to learn the details of the CPG industry.
• Experience: 3+ years.
• Preferred: strong communication skills, including talking directly with customers and managing feature development.
• Preferred: a strong desire to work at an early-stage startup and touch every part of the product.
• Preferred: a CS or equivalent degree.
