Description

The company is a startup-style AI lab inside a larger organisation, focused on training highly capable frontier models and bringing them into products at scale.

The team is growing quickly and values acting decisively, scaling its work, and getting operations right.

This role keeps the team's daily operations running. You will give hands-on technical help with internal and third-party tools, look for chances to automate, and refine processes for ongoing support and large migrations.

The team suits people who bring order to unclear situations, automate repetitive tasks, solve problems quickly, and weigh long-term thinking against day-to-day reliability. They build trust by communicating clearly and following through, enjoy working across technical and non-technical groups, and keep looking for ways to improve systems, tools and the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Run and support collaboration and operations tools, including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Linear and other internal systems.
  • Handle day-to-day operational requests, manage access, keep workspaces tidy, govern channels and write up processes.
  • Work with engineering, IT, security and business operations to resolve tool issues and improve the user experience.
  • Watch platform health, spot process gaps, and push ongoing improvements across collaboration environments.
  • Find manual work that automation, workflows or integrations could remove.
  • Design and build scalable solutions that make operations more efficient for business and engineering teams.
  • Gather requirements with stakeholders and deliver automation that makes data more accurate and visible and work easier to carry out.
  • Set up sustainable operating processes that can keep pace as the organisation grows.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, technology or a related field, plus 5+ years in program management, business operations, workplace operations, systems administration or similar work.
  • 3+ years administering Microsoft Teams or Slack, running workflow automation, or working with enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • 3+ years designing workflows, AI agent-based automations or process changes that deliver measurable efficiency gains.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities in a busy, changing environment.
  • Preferred: experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Preferred: experience with data visualisation, reporting and operational dashboards.
  • Preferred: experience supporting fast-growing technical or engineering organisations.
  • Preferred: a record of influencing teams you do not manage.

Conditions

Business Management IC5 level.

The typical UK base pay range is £70,300.00 to £133,900.00 per year.

The position stays open for at least 5 days and accepts applications until it is filled.

Benefits

  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
  • Further benefits and pay details are available from the employer's careers site.
