Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

You will join the LCS Business Intelligence team. The role is hybrid, with an office in Katowice or Gdańsk.

As a BI analyst you will build Power BI solutions end to end, covering data modelling, report design, performance tuning and governance. Your work turns business needs into clear, data-based stories that support decisions across global partners.

Responsibilities

• Turn business requirements into BI solutions that scale and make a real impact.
• Build, update and manage Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic data models for company-wide use.
• Apply dimensional modelling practice, including star schemas and semantic model design.
• Use Power Query, DAX and relational data principles to build and improve data models.
• Check that data is accurate, consistent and validated across reports and datasets.
• Tune datasets for model size, refresh speed and query speed.
• Align reporting with standard KPI definitions and business frameworks.
• Create and maintain reusable, governed datasets and data models.
• Find and fix data quality issues together with data owners.

Requirements

• A data-first mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience building scalable BI solutions with Power BI, Power Query and enterprise data platforms such as Azure SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse and Databricks.
• Ability to turn business requirements into practical insights.
• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.
• Essentials: a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Essentials: 5+ years of experience in enterprise Power BI environments.
• Preferred: hands-on skill with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server and Power Query.
• Preferred: experience writing, tuning and optimising DAX queries, calculated measures and tables.
• Preferred: experience building star and snowflake schemas, tabular models and semantic layers.
• Preferred: advanced SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning on SQL Server, Azure SQL or Databricks.
• Preferred: experience connecting to varied data sources, ETL, and automated incremental refreshes.
• Preferred: Row-Level Security, workspace management, app publishing, deployment pipelines and licensing structures.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
• Preferred: background in services, manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering or technology organisations.
• Preferred: familiarity with ERP, CRM, service management or financial systems.
• Preferred: experience with AI, advanced analytics or automation platforms.
• Preferred: knowledge of Agile delivery and product-based delivery models.

Conditions

Hybrid schedule with an office in Katowice or Gdańsk.

Expected to work at a company location on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless a business obligation takes you out of the office.

You report directly to the LCS Business Intelligence Team Leader.
