Description

Join the team at a fast-growing fintech that helps ambitious businesses trade and scale globally. The company was founded in 2009 and has more than 2000 staff across nearly 70 cities.

This is an office-based role in Melbourne, within a team that builds international finance skills from the ground up.

You will start in business development, selling FX and global payment solutions. The role suits someone who wants a sales career in international finance and a clear route into management or senior account work.

The company's platform brings together business accounts, hedging and financing in one workflow, and the product team keeps developing it.

Responsibilities

  • Build new business by reaching decision-makers in a range of industries.
  • Research prospects, learn what they need, and shape your pitch to introduce them to international payment and FX solutions.
  • Present your offer, negotiate terms and close deals. Your results affect both your earnings and how quickly you progress.
  • Work with internal teams so new clients are onboarded smoothly.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate who is keen and highly motivated.
  • Experience in B2B sales or client-facing work, or a clear wish to build it.
  • No FX background is needed. Potential counts for more than your CV, and the training will cover what you need to know.
  • Fluent business English, both written and spoken.
  • A real interest in financial markets and how global trade works.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, plus the drive to meet ambitious targets.

Conditions

Office-based role in Melbourne, working from the central office, which has good transport links.

Equal opportunity: all vacancies are open to people with disabilities, and the company is committed to an inclusive workplace.

Benefits

  • A competitive starting salary plus uncapped commission from day one.
  • Structured training through the Business Developer Academy, covering core knowledge and advanced sales skills.
  • Mentoring from experienced Heads of Desk and Account Managers.
  • Custom-built tools and systems that support your daily work.
  • Clear career paths into leadership or specialist roles. A typical promotion to Head of Desk happens within 12 months, and the other route is Client Portfolio Manager, where you advise on key client portfolios.
  • A collaborative culture that values teamwork and personal growth.
  • A benefits package tailored to your location, typically including health care and social benefits.
