Description

Join us as a Business Developer - Account Growth France 🇫🇷 to grow our existing French customers and support them over the long term. Each month you get a fresh portfolio of customers flagged from usage data. You call them, understand what they need, and close the upsell or cross-sell that fits. You will work from our Barcelona office, within our Inside Sales team, and report to Mattia Ferrario , our Account Growth Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Work your monthly portfolio: Review a refreshed list of customers, and decide who to call first and why.
  • Call customers who aren’t expecting your call: Quickly explain why you’re reaching out and give them a reason to keep listening.
  • Identify needs and recommend solutions: Ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to understand customer needs. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that genuinely fit.
  • Handle objections and drive sales: Understand customer concerns, address hesitation without pressure, and turn relevant opportunities into upsell and cross-sell deals. Agree on clear next steps or follow up with the prospect.
  • Represent the customer’s voice: Track your activity and monthly MRR, use data and AI tools to identify opportunities and potential risks, and share customer feedback with internal teams. Step in to handle inbound calls when needed.

Requirements

  • Sales experience: 1–2 years in sales, ideally in an SDR, BDR, full-cycle or junior Account Executive role with outbound calling and a track record of closing deals. A strong outbound internship can also qualify.
  • Confident and clear communication: You quickly build trust with business owners, both over the phone and in writing. You are comfortable handling a high volume of conversations while keeping your communication clear, structured and engaging.
  • A consultative approach: You listen first and recommend what actually helps the customer. Familiarity with SPIN, BANT or SPICED is a plus.
  • Open to feedback and AI: You actively seek feedback and put it into practice to keep improving. You use AI tools in your daily work to save time, work smarter and deliver better results.
  • Languages and location: You speak fluent French (native or bilingual) and professional English (C1 or equivalent). You are based in Barcelona, and the role is onsite (no full remote).
  • What we can offer you
  • A team that is taking shape: The French expansion team has a new manager and its structure is being defined. You join early and help shape approaches and processes.
  • Coaching built into your week: Role plays and objection-handling practice with Mattia and your expansion peers.
  • Monthly variable compensation: Your pay reflects your performance month after month.
  • A portfolio that starts from data: You call existing customers flagged from usage signals, so every conversation has a concrete starting point.
  • A solid tool setup: Salesforce, Aircall and Modjo.
  • Your future manager
  • You will report to Mattia Ferrario , our Account Growth Lead.
  • His path? Mattia has solid experience building and scaling sales operations across Europe, and leads a team of 7.
  • What does he bring to the team? Clear standards, continuous feedback and hands-on support so you start well. Coaching, role plays and objection-handling practice are part of how he manages.
  • [DIVERSITY] At the company, we understand that true diversity isn’t just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick - who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we’ve been searching for all along.
  • [HIRING PROCESS DURATION] On average, our hiring process lasts 20 working days. More information on our candidate journey here
