Business Analyst - MAX Solution Implementation

The company designs, builds, manages and modernizes mission-critical technology systems that people rely on every day.

You will support the implementation of the ADOT MVD MAX Solution as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, so business needs become workable technology solutions. The strongest candidates have deep experience in enterprise application rollouts, process analysis, requirements management, stakeholder engagement and UAT support.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze business and functional needs, then document them.
• Run stakeholder workshops, interviews and requirements sessions.
• Create process maps, workflows, use cases and functional specifications.
• Review current and future business processes and identify where they can improve.
• Perform gap analysis and assess business impact, risks, dependencies and how well a solution fits.
• Work with business and technical teams so solutions meet business goals.
• Support User Acceptance Testing by planning and running tests, tracking defects and confirming results.
• Evaluate how stakeholders are affected and help with change management and adoption.
• Help shape business and technology strategy by weighing business value, operational needs and technical capabilities.
• Document business architecture, including processes, roles, information flows and organizational effects.

Requirements

• You have 10+ years working as a Business Analyst on enterprise application implementations.
• You are strong in gathering requirements, mapping business processes, performing gap analysis and coordinating UAT.
• Your analysis, writing, communication and stakeholder management skills are excellent.
• You can work well with executives, business users and technical teams.
• You know the ADOT MVD MAX Solution.
• You have experience connecting business and IT teams to achieve business results.
• Preferred: experience on government or public sector technology projects.
• Preferred: experience writing technical user stories and understanding API technologies.
• Preferred: knowledge of vehicle-related business.
• Preferred: familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methods.
• Preferred: a business analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or similar.

Conditions

The role is hybrid: you must be available and willing to work on site at the Downtown Raleigh location on Mondays and Fridays, and at the Rocky Mount location on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For a full-time role in the U.S., pay falls between $115,080 and $218,520.

Actual pay depends on location, job-related skills and experience. Part-time pay is adjusted accordingly, and pay never falls below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage.

Pay ranges differ by work location:

California (San Francisco Bay Area): $138,120 to $262,320

California (All Other): $126,600 to $240,480

Colorado: $115,080 to $218,520

Massachusetts: $115,080 to $240,480

New York City: $138,120 to $262,320

Washington: $126,600 to $240,480

Washington DC: $126,600 to $240,480
