Business Analyst in Controlling Area

Description

The role supports the plant in Cluj, Romania, which has spent more than ten years as a centre for innovation and production and builds a range of modern products for the mobility industry for international customers.

You will track how the plant's finances and operations are developing and help shape its future by pushing for activities that add real value.

You will be the finance and commercial adviser to plant management.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and analyse key performance indicators, such as budget spending and productivity, to guide the organisation.
• Monitor sales, headcount progress, personnel cost, internal defect costs and other cost categories.
• Assess the profitability of investments using measures such as net present value and payback period.
• Take part in the business plan and current forecast to estimate costs for coming periods.
• Report actual and forecast financial results and the business situation to the internal customer every month and every quarter.
• Calculate the planned product cost of every individual product in your area for the current year.

Requirements

• A university degree in economics, mathematics, statistics or IT.
• 2-3 years of working experience in controlling.
• A natural interest in digitalisation, and a habit of pursuing automation and efficiency.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Tableau, SAP or RPA.
• Very advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
• You are reliable, accurate and team oriented, and you can work under time pressure.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
