The role sits in the COO Analytics Centre of Expertise and focuses on turning complex operational data into clear, actionable insights for customer, risk and business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse complex customer data and turn the findings into practical recommendations for operational, customer and risk decisions.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define their questions, expected outcomes and the right analytical method.

  • Use SQL and SAS to extract, transform and analyse data from several sources.
  • Help prototype and build AI-enabled solutions and emerging AI agents for banking and financial services, with a fair working knowledge of Copilot Studio, GitHub and the Azure analytics environment.

Requirements

  • Have 3, 5 years of experience in analytics, data, automation or digital solution roles, ideally in banking, financial services or another regulated sector.
  • Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills and engage stakeholders well, explaining technical ideas in business terms.
  • Have advanced SQL, SAS or similar query language skills for extracting, transforming and analysing data.
  • Have strong Power BI and Tableau experience in data modelling, reporting, visualisation and presenting insights as a story.
  • Have strong capability in data quality, data governance, data warehousing and analytical principles.
  • Experience using Power Automate and/or Power Apps to build workflow and process solutions is desirable.
  • Have practical experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services or equivalents, and the judgement to weigh innovation, delivery, risk and governance.
