Description

The company builds helicopters at its Marignane site in France, the third largest industrial site in the country, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. The site is being reshaped into a high-tech, inclusive and environmentally friendly place to work.

You will join the TechData and Maintenance Engineering Digital Solutions department, which defines working methods together with teams and develops maintenance, support and related solutions.

The role supports the move of technical documentation to the S1000D standard across several organisations within Transversal Services, where each mission focuses on customer satisfaction and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Run detailed discovery meetings to understand, capture and document the customer's complex business requirements.
  • Turn business needs into solution requirements and spot chances to improve business processes through technology.
  • Work with the Product Manager to build IT products that keep pace with changing customer needs.
  • Act as the link between product management and technical staff during development and rollout, so the solutions stay sound.
  • Analyse business processes and define solutions and their business rules and BREX.
  • Turn S1000D business rules into BREX controls that keep data consistent and correct and display properly in the IETP used by the customer.
  • Manage BREX so it is applied consistently across the helicopter program and check that affected organisations can work with it.
  • Support the TechData business through authoring, validation and publication of manuals in the new IT environment, covering ICA, SB and Aircrew manuals under S1000D version 4.1.

Requirements

  • A bachelor degree in IT or a similar field.
  • Five years of experience in software development, digital projects or analysis work.
  • Working knowledge of S1000D, data analytics and data migration, and IT and business strategy alignment.
  • Experience in product or service planning, IT product design and development, and technology trend monitoring.
  • Skill in conflict management, IT and business change management, stakeholder management, and managing customer expectations and needs.
  • Fluent French and fluent English.
  • Would be a plus: experience with IETP viewers.

Conditions

Permanent contract, professional experience level, French grade class G13, based in Marignane, France.

The role requires a security clearance, or eligibility for one from recognised authorities, and you will receive a questionnaire to complete.

Hiring steps: apply online, review by the recruitment department, complete the security questionnaire, then attend an HR interview and a technical interview with your future manager before receiving an offer.

Flexible working arrangements are offered where possible to support innovative thinking.

You are expected to be aware of potential compliance risks and to act with integrity. Applicants are welcome regardless of background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

Benefits

  • A compensation package covering salary, bonuses, profit-sharing, participation and a preferred share ownership plan, designed to reward individual and collective impact.
  • Professional development through training, mentoring and international mobility.
  • Health coverage and retirement provision.
  • Parental support and flexibility to help balance work and life.
  • Works council (CSE) benefits including a company restaurant, children's leisure centre, associations and sports complex, and travel allowances.
  • Company shuttles or reimbursement of your annual transport pass.
