Description

The company is a global provider of wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking services, working for individuals, families, corporations and institutions.

Founded in 1889, the company builds its work on three principles: Service, Expertise and Integrity. It has over 135 years of financial experience and more than 24,000 staff, called partners, who use advanced technology to serve demanding clients.

This Product Owner role sits in the Brokerage Product Team and covers a global set of brokerage products and applications. You will deliver product enhancements, regulatory change and operational improvements from Tempe, working closely with colleagues in Chicago and the wider global team.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product strategy, roadmaps and priorities with Product Management, business and technology teams.
  • Write business cases, cost-benefit analyses and funding requests that weigh strategic, regulatory and risk needs.
  • Take initiatives from requirements through testing, implementation and support after go-live.
  • Keep the product catalogue and backlog current in Azure DevOps or a similar tool, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and run UAT, sign-off and demos.
  • Act as Application Owner for assigned applications, or support the owner, and keep their records and documents up to date.
  • Coordinate access, control and resilience reviews and audit requests. Work with Technology, Support and vendors on incidents, defects and upgrades.
  • Prepare Product Risk Assessments with Risk, Compliance and Information Security.
  • Raise ZIP procurement requests and support vendor due diligence, contracts and funding approvals. Track risks, issues and decisions until they are closed.
  • Document data lineage, definitions, critical data elements and quality reviews for assigned products.
  • Work with Operations, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting to deliver regulatory change and tighten controls.
  • Build working relationships across Brokerage, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Procurement and vendors.
  • Run workshops and governance reviews, brief senior stakeholders with clear updates and recommendations, and produce documentation and release communications.

Requirements

  • Required: experience in product management or ownership, business analysis, application support, change management, operations or technology delivery, plus a genuine interest in moving into a product role.
  • Required: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure requirements and support technology-enabled solutions.
  • Required: strong communication and stakeholder management skills with people at every level, and the ability to juggle several priorities across locations and time zones.
  • Preferred: experience in brokerage, capital markets, asset management or investment banking, including trading, operations, onboarding or regulatory reporting workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with application ownership, product risk assessments, procurement, vendor management or data governance.
  • Preferred: agile experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA, exposure to Power BI, Snowflake or SQL, and relevant product, agile, business analysis or change certifications.

Conditions

Based in Tempe, Arizona, with regular work alongside the Chicago and global teams across time zones.

You must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without employment-based visa sponsorship. The company will not sponsor U.S. work visas for this role, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

Benefits

  • A flexible, collaborative culture backed by a long record of financial strength and stability.
  • Opportunities to move across the organization, with senior leaders who are reachable.
  • Support for giving back: philanthropy is central to the company's history, and employees across the world give their time and skills to their communities.
