The company is holding an invitation-only hiring event in Raleigh on October 28 and 29, 2026, to meet students and recent graduates about early career roles starting in spring or summer 2027.

On Wednesday evening, a networking mixer runs from 6 to 8 pm. Staff from across the company's business lines talk about projects, career paths and the firm itself, and you can meet other students, recent graduates and professionals.

Interviews take place at the Raleigh office on Thursday.

The company is a global infrastructure firm working in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings. The start date is May 2027.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering with a structures concentration, or another related engineering field, and have completed at least one year of study.
  • Graduates with a bachelor's degree are eligible if they plan to continue to a master's degree.
  • Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most recent school term and intend to pursue an advanced degree in the same or a similar discipline after the internship.
  • Preferred: registration as an E.I.T.
  • Preferred: strong technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Preferred: flexibility to work across many projects, including highways and bridges.
  • Preferred: flexibility to travel occasionally at night and take on short-notice assignments when bridge inspections require it.
  • Preferred: attention to detail and good problem-solving ability.
  • Preferred: good interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
  • Preferred: a master's degree.
  • Preferred: prior internship experience.
  • Preferred: experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office and structural analysis software.
