  • Produce design plans, sketches, working drawings, maps and technical specifications.

Conditions

The workplace is at 40-29 27th Street, Long Island City, NY 11101.

Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

You may be able to work from home up to two days a week, depending on your position.

The base work week is 35 hours.

Appointments are subject to OMB approval.

The city is an equal opportunity employer that bars discrimination and harassment based on legally protected status.

Benefits

  • A premium-free health insurance plan that the city estimates saves employees more than $10K a year, based on a 2024 assessment.
  • Additional health, fitness and financial benefits may be available, depending on your union or benefit fund.
  • A public sector defined benefit pension that pays steady monthly amounts in retirement.
  • A college savings plan, pre-tax commuter benefits, and a tax-deferred savings program.
