AXIS OS Senior Software Engineer - Security, Lund

The company is adding people to its AXIS OS security and network team in Lund, Sweden, and is looking for a senior software engineer.

AXIS OS runs the embedded software that lets internal developers, partners and customers build secure video streaming, analytics and device management tools.

Teams work independently toward clear goals, guided by a strategic roadmap and prioritised backlogs, and collaborate widely across the company to test new ideas.

Security requirements keep changing, and the team turns them into dependable features across AXIS OS, working with groups throughout the organisation.

The company is a network technology business offering video surveillance, access control, intercom and audio products, enhanced by intelligent analytics, with around 6,000 staff in more than 50 countries.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end security features for an embedded system running in Linux user space.
• Assess, configure, integrate and test open source components.
• Design, threat-model, write, review, document and test security work.
• Pass your knowledge and skills on to other teams and colleagues.

Requirements

• You are an experienced C developer.
• You focus on security in a Linux environment and enjoy solving problems with others.
• You know Linux user space tools, including systemd and D-Bus.
• You know public key infrastructure (PKI) well and understand how it works.
• You pick up new technologies and tools as the work requires.
• You speak and write English fluently.
• In addition to the above: a master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Conditions

Permanent employment based at the Lund HQ campus in Sweden.
