Description

The company is a bank that helps customers and businesses make sound financial decisions and supports the communities it serves.

The team tests the software and hardware behind ATM services, so automation work here directly affects release quality.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks covering ATM applications, middleware, transaction systems, and hardware integrations.
  • Build and run functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end automated test suites that raise software quality and readiness for release.
  • Automate ATM transaction flows, including cash withdrawals, deposits, balance checks, card services, and image processing.
  • Test ATM hardware in a lab, including card readers, cash dispensers, receipt printers, deposit modules, recyclers, and barcode scanners.
  • Add automated testing to CI/CD pipelines using current DevOps practices so testing and delivery run continuously.
  • Review test results, find root causes, and work with engineering teams to fix defects and strengthen platform stability.
  • Work with developers, product teams, QA analysts, and infrastructure teams so quality is built into every stage of development.
  • Improve automation coverage, test efficiency, reporting, and quality engineering practices across ATM platforms.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, or work experience that counts as an equivalent.
  • 7 to 9 years of experience with programming, development logic, or automating complex processes.
  • Solid background in ATM software testing, ATM transaction processing, and ATM device integration testing.
  • Hands-on use of test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca, or similar frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Java, C, Python, JavaScript, or another scripting language for automation.
  • Experience with cloud automation.
  • Experience building scalable test automation frameworks, including data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, and BDD approaches.
  • Strong skill in API testing, REST and SOAP services, backend transaction validation, and database testing with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Experience putting test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Git.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner), and enterprise application environments.
  • Solid understanding of quality engineering, system integration testing, defect management, root cause analysis, Agile/Scrum delivery, and financial services technology platforms.
  • You may need to be on call to support the automation frameworks.
