SAP S/4HANA Test Automation Manager (f/m/div.)

Description

The company is Bosch Home Comfort, and this role supports its global SAP S/4HANA transformation with a focus on quality.

The test automation work supports reliable, scalable rollouts across business processes, entities and integrated applications.

You will work with business process teams, SAP consultants, architects, migration teams and AI initiatives to raise automation coverage and test quality, improve release readiness and make testing more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Define and keep developing the test automation strategy for the S/4HANA program.
• Set standards, frameworks, governance and best practices for automated testing, including reusable test assets, libraries and accelerators.
• Govern and evolve the test automation tool landscape so SAP and integrated applications use harmonized approaches.
• Define and track test automation KPIs such as automation coverage, execution efficiency, defect reduction, release readiness and return on investment.
• Drive the integration of SAP Solution Manager with supporting testing platforms.
• Promote AI-enabled testing within the S/4HANA transformation.
• Work with AI initiatives to find use cases in test creation, maintenance, execution, defect analysis and regression testing.
• Partner with Data Management, Migration and SAP Process Expert teams on test data readiness, automated provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Encourage automation approaches that are reusable, scalable and sustainable across the program.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Process Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in SAP test automation, test management or quality assurance in complex transformation environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and end-to-end business processes.
• Experience with the SAP Solution Manager Test Suite, test automation, quality metrics or test data management.
• Experience on international or large-scale SAP transformation projects.
• Experience coordinating technical and business stakeholders in complex projects.
• Strong grasp of SAP test automation strategy, frameworks and governance, including the SAP Solution Manager Test Suite and its place in the testing landscape.
• Understanding of test automation KPIs, automation coverage, defect metrics and release readiness.
• Knowledge of test data management and automated test data provisioning.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled testing and where it fits across test creation, maintenance, execution, regression testing and defect analysis.
• Ability to turn complex testing problems into scalable standards, processes and automation solutions.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• You combine strategic thinking with hands-on understanding of test automation.
• You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented way on complex transformation topics.
• You are comfortable setting standards and governance while working with business and technical teams.
• You use data and KPIs to judge test effectiveness and find improvements.
• You can lead discussions and align stakeholders in an international setting.
• You explain complex topics clearly and adjust to different audiences.
• You take ownership and drive topics from strategy through implementation.
• You are curious about new technologies and keen to see how automation and AI can improve software quality.
• You connect people, processes and technology to build scalable solutions.
• You work well across functions, countries and areas of expertise.
• Advantage: German language skills.
• Advantage: experience with SAP Cloud ALM, Nova or Conduct.AI.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
