Associate Software Engineer

Description

This is an associate role for an embedded software engineer in Athens, working alongside a team lead and senior engineers.

The team lead and senior engineers will guide your early work, and you will follow a training path planned with your team lead.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in the areas assigned to you.
• Write, test and document embedded software.
• Take part in software planning and report your progress to your team lead.
• Follow the training path and on-the-job learning activities set with your team lead.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering, computer science or a related field, with up to 1 year of professional software experience.
• Working knowledge of C programming and debugging.
• Familiarity with core software engineering practices for coding and testing.
• Strong motivation to build a career as an embedded software engineer.
• Professional written and verbal English, and a collaborative, team-oriented way of working.
• Experience on embedded projects.
• Experience with test tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, multimeters and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and software testing, and of source control tools such as Bitbucket, Git or SVN.
• Bluetooth Low Energy or another wireless protocol.
• Experience with multithreaded micro-kernel RTOSes such as FreeRTOS.
• Experience with AI-assisted development.
